There's something quietly beautiful about receiving a letter in the mail.

A Legacy of Hope, Handwritten

The Jamie Effect was created in memory of my sister, Jamie, the kindest soul you could ever meet, someone whose heart was enormous even when the world around her felt isolating. She found comfort in the quiet escape of a good book, the same kind of comfort that handwritten letters can bring: a moment of connection, a reminder that you're not alone.

This space is a way to honor her legacy by inviting others to share how a simple letter brought them hope, comfort, or light. Through these stories, we keep her spirit of kindness moving forward, touching others just as she touched so many. Our mission is to celebrate the quiet power of handwritten letters by sharing real stories of how they bring comfort, connection, and hope. Through these shard experiences, we honor the impact one simple act of kindness have and inspire others to keep that ripple of hope moving forward.

We believe that a letter, handwritten and personal, carries a depth of heart that no screen can replicate. In an increasingly fast-paced world, snail mail offers a sanctuary—a tangible piece of resilience that you can hold, keep, and revisit whenever you need to feel the warmth of another soul's encouragement.
